We encourage the presence of all persons and other pet companions of your beloved pet during the euthanasia appointment. Children too young or active pets eager for attention may distract from this peaceful experience. Please use your discretion and plan for assistance or other activities or areas to contain these not aware of their distracting behavior or ask the attending veterinarian for guidance. It is encouraged to have household companions interact with the deceased body at the end of the appointment prior to removal though it may only include a sniff.
